PURPOSEFUL BY DESIGN

When the floor needs to be simple and functional.

Plain Coat uses high-performance tinted epoxy to create a continuous solid-colour surface. It delivers a clean, professional appearance without decorative flake or exposed aggregate.

The finished system can be specified around traffic, chemicals, sunlight, cleaning and texture requirements. It is particularly useful in workshops, storerooms, production areas, sheds and selected residential interiors.

Substrate condition still controls the result.

A solid-colour finish can reveal slab variation more readily than decorative flake. Preparation, repairs and realistic expectations are discussed before installation.

INSTALLATION LOGIC

The colour is visible. The preparation is critical.

The precise coating build and return-to-service time are confirmed for each project.

01

Inspect and specify

Assess traffic, chemicals, moisture, UV exposure and operational requirements.

02

Mechanical Grind

The concrete is mechanically ground and dust-extracted to create the required surface profile.

03

Patch & Fill

Cracks, divots and identified defects are patched, filled and prepared before coating.

04

Primer Coat & Base Coat

The specified Primer Coat and tinted Base Coat build uniform, continuous colour coverage.

05

Top Coat(s)

The specified Top Coat(s) and texture are selected for the environment and expected use.

APPLICATIONS

CONFIDENTIAL PHARMACEUTICAL FACILITY PROJECT

Planning around trenches, equipment and existing-floor damage.

Vantage planned this commercial project around deteriorated epoxy, uneven areas, open trenches, service penetrations, moisture concerns, restricted ventilation and tight access around fixed processing equipment.

Preparation and repairs were sequenced for the site conditions before the seamless blue solid-colour system was installed. The completed finish supports a cleaner working surface, with slip resistance considered against the project’s operational requirements.
